MG Gouf Custom WIP 01
Quickly snap fitted my MG Gouf Custom during the weekend ^^ After working on two HGs in a row, i was floored by seeing the amount of parts in a MG again lol but it was incredibly fun to put this guy together.
Duhh… haz you seen mah body?

I cursed when i saw theses XD
Bass string + tape + wet sanding = ^_^
*note to self: next time do 10 pieces at a time, attempting 20 was too much!*
Still needs another round of sanding though… running low on the good rough stuff p320.

Havent touched the tubing for the waist yet. I have to say im impressed by the bad ass intimidating presence of this Gouf Custom! Interesting that the joints use screws too o.O
Im planning to do some battle damage and maybe a minor Guyver mod with elbow blades = G-Gouf Custom Lol
Oh, i started this guy so that i could use his box to store all my gundams in 😛

Also, I found my old badly painted little figures that came with the kits lol i have Relena and Mariemaia too somewhere.

no zaku indeed, Gouf Custom was my first fav zeon mobile suit. hes too bad ass not to like ^_^b
Still unsure if I should get this (weapon) or the 2.0 (articulation)..
Buying both is a no-no.. I won’t pay that much for a weapon xD
his articulations is very limited XD but im still happy with this so far.
i thought i saw a conversion kit before for the gouf 2.0 to make it into a gouf custom, if thats true there is a possible option.
arGH!!! Gouf custom!!! Looks wise this still wins over the 2.0 gouf and plus…that shield gatling is begging me to pull that trigger!!

definitely! thats why i still chose him over 2.0 gouf.
so much more is possible with modding but very hard to do t right lol will have to wait a while before i start on him though ^^;

MGs do take a while, of course part of the fun is also in the assembly so that might work out for you! ^^

lolx! goof. you are fast. i jus finished the legs today of my unicorn.. tt’s ard 1 week.. 2-3 hrs day.. cool. looking forward to your battle damage gouf! smthing tt i can nv bear to do… haha. looks like baby zaku found a dad dad! XD
i went full speed with this guy, no time to waste ^^;; but i didnt do any sanding except for the tubing on the head, it will take me days too if i started to sand the nubs XD
now your unicorn can walk! 😛 take your time and make it good, he has more small parts than my gouf custom lol

The Gouf Custom is one level over the original. Too bad the difference in design probably makes Bandai relucant to reuse the Gouf 2.0 mold.
giant googly eye seems very fitting for gouf/zaku lol
yup, the small differences here make a big difference to me though. would be cool if there was a 2.0 of him, till then i will prolly attempt to mod mines to match the 2.0 standards!
he looks so mean! how many hours does it take to snap-fit it? I never had an MG before but all i know is that there are just too many parts..
thats why i like him 😀 with sanding of only the head tubing i think it took about 6-7 hours over 2 days? not sure though, i was watching/listening to some documentaries at the same time lol.
MGs have ton more parts compared to HGs. that also means cleaning it up/painting will take long ^^;

i wonder what kind of damage i should do! ^^ well i have plenty of time to think about it, this project is on hold.

norris was a very cool and noble guy, one of the reasons why i like the gouf custom so much ^^
ah.. so this isn’t the ver 2.0
but still it’s cool..
especially the shield..
articulation sucks but this still looks better than the 2.0, cant go wrong with the weaponry too ^^
